Happy Wednesday!

We are in the middle of our week and I'm celebrating 2 months of a wonderful relationship with my boyfriend :3

I do not have the day completely off but it still works and I'm happy I can write another post :)

This week I am head-over-heels in love with Andrea Torres's style.

She is a very talented blogger/model from Mexico and is the winner of this year's "Mango's IT Girl" contest where she was chosen out of hundred girls for her impeccable style. She is a fashion blogger at heart. She runs Style Scrapbook which is a style and fashion blog where she shares her daily looks and lifestyle.

She is truly the one to look out for when missing inspiration for looks. Truly a unique, laid-back, and edgy style to appreciate.

Hello!

Right now, I'm at the beauty salon getting pampered and gorgeous because I needed some quality time with this heating machine that is drying my hair at the moment.

It is Friday afternoon already and I can't wait to get out of here and do some serious shopping!
It is well-deserved. 

My latest college trimester is almost done and I am somewhat nervous for my grades... I am still doing my best but one of the classes I am taking has been kind of hard for me. Juggling school with work is not easy but I am an optimistic person and I really think I can do it! (: Plus, when God is on your side there is nothing you cannot achieve!

Out of the machine now and almost stepping out of the salon :)

Walking for the cure!

Hello! I've been so busy with college and work that I haven't had time for my favorite thing! :(
Anyhoo! I want to let you know what have I've been doing lately.

On Sunday, October 9th 2011 my cousin, my boyfriend and I walked in Susan G. Komen's "Race for the Cure" that helps cancer patients to be one step closer for the cure of mentioned disease. It felt great walking and looking at other people doing the same. There were SO many people there. It was my first time doing it and it was such a great experience. I'm glad I got to help (:

A small haul: Sephora & Mango

Today has been a lovely day for me (despite all of the sudden rain!) I chose to treat myself with a little shopping love since I haven't done it in awhile and of course I have to share with you what was bought. My little brother and his girlfriend kept me company. We also had a little treat in the beginning of out shopping adventure :D
We ate cupcakes and petite mints!!

Mango has an amazing deal. They have clothes and accesories from 50% to 70% off the regular price. This means I had do check it out, so I did and came out with a nice black top; here are the pictures

I would mostly use it for work or church.

Then off to Sephora!

Where I found the greatest magnetic make-up palette. Which contains 66 colors, a mini palette that holds 8 colors and it's completely customizable for in-the-go action. Easy to take anywhere!
Both cases big and small) bring their own mirrors. It has great shades of eye shadows, eye liners, lip gloss blush and bronzing powder. For an amazing value of $19.00 dollars. I'm in love with this kit. I also got a sephora nail polish called "underwater fantasy" which is this skyblue color with glittler on it, a sephora lip gloss which name is "apricot souffle" and a nice grey satin bow hairband.

Oh, and because it was my bday 2 weeks ago they gave me my sephora's beauty-insider gift. It's a vanilla birthday cake shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath from philosophy and it smells yummy ^^

I was the birthday girl...

Last saturday (July 2nd to be exact!) I celebrated my birthday with family & close friends.
I had a BLAST (:
They made a BBQ and a bunch of different dips and chips. Also, my aunt brought this amazing huuuuge chocolate cake that I absolutely loved! Chocolate is my favorite!
After that, we played some video games and started to make sandwiches.
OVERALL, It was a lot of fun spending this birthday with such great people. I feel totally blessed.

Local News: Stores opening this year

Hey!
I've been lost in the world of college & work, but now I'm back to life (:
I wanted to make an update and what a better way than to announce which LOVELY stores are going to join Puerto Rico in the next few months. All of these stores are opening at the same mall.
The mall is called Plaza las Americas and is the biggest mall in all the caribbean and it's situated in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico.

1st store:

Victoria's Secret!
Yes, the secret is revealed! The store is going to join us in November 2011.
I seriously can't wait for this store to open.
Beautiful, sexy lingerie just 20 minutes away from home sounds like a temptation.

2nd store:

The Disney Store!
It's coming back!!! I've been waiting for this store to come back for SO long. I used to visit all the time when I was little and I'm glad the new generation of younger people get's to see it!
It's such a magical store (:

Carolina Herrera Boutique!
I'm actually really suprised about this last store opening in PR.
It'll be really cool seeing this store up close. I imagine it very white and with dashes of red.
I'm very interested in visiting this designer boutique.
