Whitney Port's Designer Eye

Just saw Whitney Eve's 2010 fall collection look book and thought it was pretty nice. Fall and winter season are my favorite cause designers take dark colors and mix them as they like. I'm a faithful lover of black and every other dark color. But Whitney's fall collection has almost everything, from bright yellows to dark burgundy and unbelievably this is quite sensational for my eyes. For a beginner, she's very good and creative with unusual patterns.

I'm posting my favorite looks, but you can always check out more on her blog/website

Back from Cabo.

I can't believe the trip it's over! :(
But THANK GOD it was too much fun!!! 3 hours on the road to Cabo Rojo, PR and then 3 hours back to my hometown. Such a great trip with awesome views. My friends and me took a suntan @ the pool, swam for a bit and ate yummy food. The 4 star hotel had the Sexy & The City: 2 vibe; It was very Morocco and fresh, loved it! The vacations are going great, I hope it stays like this or gets better :) Of course, there's a bunch of pictures but I'll just show you my favorites.

What are YOUR
vacation plans?

After all that we've been through, I know we're cool.

That's right!
I haven't written anything here since the quote and I've been missing it :(
It's been hectic with University finals!! But at the same time, I've been hanging around with friends since last week I did nothing but study and take care of grandma'.
The weekend is going great. Today my cousin, me and some friends are going on a roadtrip to Cabo Rojo! We're going to stay there for some days and then come back to our hometown. I have a feeling it's going to be really fun and I'll take a million pictures so I can show them to you! :)
Although, I'll be out for some days I'm still going to check the blog and such :)

(went to Arecibo's Observatory on Thursday, this is part of the view of nature around there)

(went out dancing with my bestie on friday and wore this:

This Month's Quote: Myself

I wrote this quote long time ago. It's still how I live my life and so far so good! Having faith is hard but not impossible. That's how this quote came to me.

"NEVER look for what you want to find,
let it find you.
But for now, live your life to it's fullest!"

- Myself (Reina Baez)

Now go along and dance cause this life is UNIQUE.

Latest Purchase: My Black Leather Jacket

Okay, long story short.
My grandmother won a gift certificate from the boutique "Glamour" which is run by a very known designer from Puerto Rico (Carlos Alberto). She decided to give it to me as a surprise gift so I could buy a leather jacket I saw there last year. And for my surprise it was there! Waiting for me in my size! It looked even better than last year cause of the few pounds I dropped. It's SO exciting! :D

Here is the picture:
(You'll see me with it whenever I decide to wear it)

The jacket itself costs $120 ($129 with taxes.)
Good thing I only had to pay $29 dollars :D

Did you like my choice?

Experimenting: Heels & Socks

It caught my attention how good the "socks in heels" actually look if you combine them well. They're all around lookbook.nu and magazines; some people know how to rock the trend. I think this trend is very edgy on it's own way and not many people would like to try it or many would just say it's ugly. I find it interesting.

Here are some pics of what I'm talking about:

What do you think about this trend?
Would you try it or ignore it?
