Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Hopefully you are having a great day. Even if you are with or without someone, Valentine's day should be special. Be grateful for your family and friends! Also for God, who has you always in his mind. Today should be special from other days because you get to make a statement and reassure how much you love those around you. Be happy, have lots of chocolate covered strawberries and love, love without limits!!!

When one star falls another star rises: The 2012 Grammy's

Welcome back to my personal blog!

Tonight I will be giving out my personal opinion about The 54th Annual Grammy's celebrated Sunday, February 12. Also, I am going to countdown my favorite looks of the night.


The Grammy's is a special night where all types of music artists from different genres sit down in a room. I believe in diversity and union between people. While watching the Grammy's on Sunday, I noticed how forgotten country music is for those who are in the music industry. Even though is not my cup of coffee, it is still good music and it should be respected. I felt that they were SO isolated from other artists like Nicky Minaj, Katy Perry and Rihanna. It was a little disturbing watching the Grammy's because of this issue.

Another point is how weird it was for me to see LL Cool J (as the master of ceremony for this event) begin with a prayer to Whitney Huston while holding a paper and reading it. Of course, it wasn't rehearsed but at least just say few words that come from your heart and just be sincere. Reading a paper with a prayer does not make you any less than anyone but IT IS the Grammy's and it should be more special.


On positive notes, there were great performances at The 2012 Grammy's. I personally loved Chris Brown's performance that began with full energy and was very fun to watch him bust out great moves. My second favorite performance was from The Foo Fighters, who gave out two great shows which exuded true passionate feelings for music.


There were also hit and misses on the red carpet. I think that music artists have a distinct way of expressing themselves. Clothing is one of them. They are always out and about when it comes to clothing and accessories. That is why I love the Grammy's red carpet. I'll post pictures (from one to three) of the ones I think took the crown on this special night for music.

I think Rihanna had a better walk-in-the-park with them.

And finally, the one who took almost all the Grammy's home. Adele Adkins. Breath-taking, super beautiful in this cinched-waist three-quarter sleeve sequin gown (custom made for her) by Giorgio Armani.

The Grammy's were glory for Adele and the other winners. But, it was also a night of tears because of the sudden death of an admiring voice, beautiful soul and spectacular talent by Whitney Huston. She will always be in the heart of those who love her talent. May she rest in peace in the heavens and sing with all angels. Amen.

After Christmas Shopping

Hello Lovely!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas (:
New Years Eve is right around the corner and I wanted to get a dress for the occasion.
It took a long walk into every store I liked from the Barceloneta Outlet's in PR to made up my mind and find that eye catching dress. Sadly, at the end of the day I didn't find the perfect dress. I bought BCBG goodies (a sweater and a button down shirt) and some old navy sweaters that I over-wore this year but instead of buying them my favorite clothing color (black) I got them in navy and gray. My boyfriend and best friend tagged along for the ride and it came out to be a very fun experience (minus the dress). Although, I hadn't found the dress for the night I am hoping I will and well... let's hope it's a bright color or it has sequins or something because it should stand out. If I can't find a dress, I'm thinking about sparkly heels which adds fun and festivity to a basic outfit.

Wish me good in finding either one! It's been a great year, I want to enjoy it and look my most amazing.

What did you get for Christmas!?

Opening: Victoria's Secret @ Plaza Las Americas, P.R.

Hello!

Today was the opening of the Victoria's Secret and Pink (by VS) stores in the biggest mall in the Caribbean that is located here in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. A lot of fans came to the store and got their favorite pieces!

I as well enjoyed a little bit of shopping and accompanied by my boyfriend we browsed around the store. Its a pretty big store that is divided in 4 parts. When you go in the first things that you'll find are the expensive and all new VS body shapers, bras, panties and sleepwear. Then it goes into the 2 for $49 bras and 5 for $25/3 for $30 panties, sleepwear and then in the back there are the make-up and fragrances from VS. Pink has a store all its own and it's divided as well. I found everything to be at great activity. There were people waiting in-line outside of the store. Security was high and salespersons inside the store were very attentive of the customers.

Christmas is near!

Hello fellow followers!

We all know and feel that Christmas is very near :) I am in love with the festivities and the holiday. There is something magical about Christmas that I just love. People look and feel different. The love of life just glows around this time of year. I think all of us have different opinions about this subject but I do not know anyone who would say "Christmas it's awful!" I know that not everyone of us feel the same way about specific holiday but it would be an amazing opportunity for you to make this Christmas the best one possible. We only live this life once and it is important for us to make great memories for ourselves and others :)

With this said, may you have the best Christmas! Live it and love it as much as you can! Laugh, live, love and have peace!

Happy Birthday to Kendall Jenner!

Good morning!

Today is the first day of my second trimester and I decided to stay home and do chores, yes! I am just not fully prepared to start a new trimester till Monday when I get all of the things I need to be ready.

Without further adieu, I wanted to make a little segment about Kendall Jenner, one of the the Kardashian's little sisters, who is already modeling in big fashion shows like Sherri Hill's in this years Mecedes-Benz High Fashion Week for Spring 2012. I just found out that she turns sixteen today which makes this segment make a lot more sense. She is on the watch for so many fashion lovers out there, including myself. She grew up in the "Keeping up with the Kardashian's" E! Reality Show about her sisters, brothers and parents lives and has a long way to go! So gorgeous and young! I wish her the best and may she grow up a fine woman and hopefully a very successful model!
